JLU Tuinen is a full-service landscaping company that takes care of everything for you throughout the project. After the design we take the lead: we plan the work, order the materials and bring in the right specialists where needed. You have one point of contact and short lines of communication.
An exclusive garden is all in the details: high-quality materials, neatly finished paving, custom-made elements and planting that suits the house. We look for the balance between those materials and the authentic character of your home, so the garden becomes an extension of the house. That might be a lounge garden with a steel pergola and outdoor kitchen, a family garden with a covered terrace and artificial lawn, or a pool garden with a vertical green wall.
We prepare everything in advance: the garden is cleared, groundwork and foundations are laid and deliveries are scheduled. During the build we keep the site tidy, and afterwards we leave your garden clean.
We work for private and business clients in Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Weesp, 't Gooi and the rest of Noord-Holland.

What we build for you
Terrace and paving
Ceramic tiles, natural stone, clay pavers or a timber deck, laid in the pattern that suits the garden.
Planting
Borders, hedges, pleached trees and specimen trees according to the planting plan, chosen for ease of maintenance and the seasons.
Lighting
Path lighting, festoon lights under the pergola and uplighting of planting, so the garden is used in the evening too.
Covered terraces and pergolas
Pergolas, verandas, garden houses and carports, made to measure and in keeping with the architecture of the house.
Boundaries and water
Fencing, bespoke walls and retaining walls, and where wanted a swimming pool as the centrepiece of the garden.
Maintenance after completion
After the build we come back by appointment for pruning, cleaning the paving, weed control and mowing, so the garden stays the way it was handed over.

Yes, we never start building without a design. That way you and we know exactly what is coming. When you commission the build, the design fee is offset against the quote.
