Question 1

Which region does JLU Tuinen cover?

Accepted Answer

We are based in Amstelveen and work as landscapers across Amsterdam and the wider North Holland region, including Weesp and ’t Gooi.

Question 2

Which services do you offer?

Accepted Answer

JLU Tuinen is a full-service landscaping company for garden design and construction. We take care of exclusive garden construction, terraces and paving, swimming pools, outdoor kitchens, carports, pergolas, tree care and garden houses. We lead the project and bring in the right specialists where needed, so everything is taken care of for you.

Question 3

Do you work for private clients and businesses?

Accepted Answer

Yes, both private and commercial clients are welcome. From a city garden in Amsterdam to the grounds of an office: we design and build gardens for homes and businesses alike.

Question 4

Do you work with partners?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work with regular partners and suppliers, including The Garden Store, van Beem Buitenleven and the landscape architects Biesot Tuinen en Parken. That way we can deliver the right quality for every part of your garden.

Question 5

How much does a garden design cost?

Accepted Answer

A garden design starts from €375. If you go ahead with the construction after the design, the design fee is deducted from the quotation, so you do not pay for the design separately.

Question 6

Do I get a sketch or a 3D design?

Accepted Answer

That is up to you. We always start with a sketch session: a hand-drawn sketch that gives a general impression of the layout. If you want to see the result in advance, we develop the design into a full 3D garden design. Either way, it comes with a planting plan tailored to the seasons and the amount of maintenance you want to do.

Question 7

How does a project with JLU Tuinen work?

Accepted Answer

In four steps. Introduction: we discuss your wishes and budget. Quotation: you receive a no-obligation quotation once the style, planting and design have been agreed. Garden design: a sketch session, optionally developed into a 3D design. Getting started: we prepare the work and build the garden. We never start construction without a design.

Question 8

Do you also maintain the garden after construction?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After construction or renovation we return periodically by arrangement to keep your garden looking cared for: pruning, cleaning paving and terraces, weed control and mowing. That way your garden keeps looking the way it was designed.

Question 9

Is the introductory meeting free and without obligation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The introductory meeting is free and without obligation. We look at your garden, discuss your wishes and budget and explain what we can do for you. Only then do you decide whether you want a design and a quotation.

Question 10
